When you create a Chaser account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your plain-text password).
When you use the app, we store the data you enter: client names, email addresses, phone numbers, invoice amounts, and due dates. This data is necessary to provide the service.
We also collect basic usage information (page views, feature usage) through anonymised analytics to improve the product.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (email delivery via Resend, database hosting via Supabase).
When you add a client to Chaser, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to store and email that person. By using Chaser, you confirm that you have obtained appropriate consent or have a legitimate interest to contact your clients about outstanding invoices.
Client email addresses are used only to send reminder emails that you have configured. We do not contact your clients for any other purpose.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase (AWS infrastructure, Mumbai region for Indian users). All connections are encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data including invoices, clients, and reminders is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Chaser uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at privacy@chaser.app.
For any privacy-related questions, email us at privacy@chaser.app. We respond within 2 business days.
