Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Chaser account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Chaser. These terms apply to all users of the service.

2. Description of service

Chaser is an invoice follow-up automation tool for freelancers and small businesses. It allows you to create invoice records, schedule automated email reminders, and track payment status. Chaser is not a payment processor — it does not handle any money.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login with others or use Chaser to send reminders on behalf of another business without their explicit permission.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Impersonating another person or business is prohibited.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Chaser to:

• Send spam, harassment, or threatening emails to clients
• Send reminder emails for fraudulent or non-existent invoices
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the service

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Payment and subscriptions

The Starter plan is free with limitations. The Pro plan is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

6. Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

7. Limitation of liability

Chaser is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue if a reminder email fails to deliver.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of Chaser after changes constitutes acceptance.
